There is a God to care for us,
And angels to watch over us.

1.
He has given us His promise:
“I will never forsake you.”
Day and night, He has the power
To provide everything we need
And sustain us.

2.
The One who shut the lions’ mouths
Is there to uphold us in times of trouble.
The One whose feet walked upon the sea
Is near to lead us,
So that we will never grow weary.

3.
The God who parted the Red Sea
And protected His people
Is near for us to trust in,
No matter how difficult
Or overwhelming our circumstances may become.

4.
Our Lord shed His own blood
And made us His very own.
Even when the earth and heavens pass away,
He will hold us close
And shelter us in His arms.
