Meaning:
He will care for me, He will care for me, He will care for me—my Lord!
He will hold me close in His hands and keep me safe.
In days of trouble, He will never abandon me;
He will give me refuge beneath His wings
And care for me, His humble servant.

When my heart melts and aches with sorrow,
He will gently comfort me.
With compassion, He will care for me in my weakness,
And the Lord will wipe away all my tears.
Then my heart will overflow
With joy and gladness.

When I walk through the paths of the shadow of death,
He will come to my aid.
He will give me grace to overcome my enemies,
Drive every fear far away,
And faithfully watch over me
And lead me always.

He will pour fragrant oil upon my head,
And His fresh mercies and grace
Will continue day after day.
Songs of thanksgiving will rise from my lips,
For my Lord will remain beside me
And never leave me.

My Lord is preparing a home for me
In the heavenly city of Zion.
I too will enter that new home
And dwell there with Him.
There will be no more sorrow,
No more death.
I will experience everlasting joy
And live forever in His presence.
