The Lord cares for us forever.
So, His people, do not be troubled.
The One who has brought an end to our suffering
Will surely continue to care for us with love.

The Holy One bought me with His precious blood,
Giving His life as the price for me.
He loved me this much—
Who else would ever be willing
To give their life for me?

With the Red Sea before us
And a mighty army behind us,
He removed the distress of His people
And brought us safely to the other side.
We still have such a God with us.

Even the hardships of wilderness life
He can turn into something sweet.
He is completely powerful enough
To keep us standing firm without fear
Even in the valley of the shadow of death.

He has prepared a home for us
And will soon come to take us there.
He will welcome us into His home,
Where we will live with Him forever,
Never separated again, in everlasting joy.
