O Ocean of Mercy,
keep watching over me through all the ages.
O Lord, never abandon me—
O Ocean of Mercy!

Even when waves rise like mountains
and great troubles come my way,
You will give me shelter beneath Your wings,
under Your shadow I will find refuge in You.

2.
Even when the wind blows fiercely against me,
and I experience the bitter waters of Marah,
O King, in Your tender compassion,
protect me and keep me safe in Your shelter.

3.
You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies
and lead me forward with courage.
O Supreme Lord, may You remain beside me always,
never leaving me or turning away.

4.
For the One who cried out and died for me
upon the cross at Calvary,
my deepest desire is to spend myself completely
and depart from this earthly life to be with Him.
