Pour Your merciful care upon this servant always.
Until death, may I take refuge in Your feet;
Your feet are my shelter and my place of safety.
Please have mercy on this humble one.

and my life becomes filled with deep darkness,
I will see the beauty of the rainbow in the clouds.
Then, O Lord, Your words will gently
bring peace and comfort to my heart.

and a heavy burden comes upon my shoulders,
I remember Your promise:
“I will carry you until your hair turns gray.”
Remembering this each day,
I continue my journey.
