The Lord is about to come in the heavens
To give us our reward.

1.
There will be no suffering there,
No hunger or want at all.
No wicked people
Will ever enter that place.

2.
The sorrow and division
That trouble us here today
Will be gone forever.
There we will all be one.

3.
On that day we will reign on the earth;
We will be kings,
And the armies of our enemies
Will bow down under that righteous rule.

4.
Clothed in new bodies
And having received our reward,
We will all see one another
In the city of New Jerusalem.

5.
The time is not far away,
And the days will not be long.
Our Beloved is coming.
Let us be ready, dear friends!
