The Lord is my refuge; He is always with me.
He will protect me and care for me
All the days of my life.

Even in times of sorrow, I will rejoice.
Whatever trouble may come my way,
I will rest in the embrace of my unchanging Friend,
Whose love never runs dry.

How blessed it is to live here on earth
Receiving from the Lord a joy
That the world cannot give,
And a happiness untouched by sorrow.

All the suffering I endure here on earth
Will ultimately work for my good.
So day and night I will not be troubled or discouraged;
I will follow my Beloved Lord.

4.
I look forward to the day
When my earthly dwelling is over
And I can live forever with my Beloved.
Until then, I count this world's troubles as nothing
And continue my journey with hope.
