he Lord is my refuge and my strength;
He is my ever-present help in times of trouble.

He is my refuge until the day I die,
My support, my stronghold, and my fortress.

God is on my side here in this world;
Who then can stand against me?

Even if my father and mother forsake me,
He will never, ever forsake me.
