For all my life here on earth,
I will live for the Lord,
praising Him with songs of thanksgiving.

1.
The Lord removed all my sin and its curse
and made me a child of God.
Now that my sorrows have come to an end,
I will sing aloud the joyful song of my heart.

2.
When worries surround me and my heart is troubled,
the Lord gives me comfort and keeps me safe.
Even in times of trouble, He never leaves me;
He supports me with the hands that were pierced by the nails.

3.
Even if an enemy comes against me,
whatever I may face along my journey,
I will lean on the Lord, look to His face,
and continue my journey here on earth, carrying my cross.

4.
Until the day I reach that eternal home,
that land untouched by weariness or impurity,
my faithful Lord will keep me from falling
and lead me safely as the Captain of my faith.
