There is a Lord who never leaves me in my tears;
When I cry with all my heart, He is right there with me.
Even if a mother forgets her own child,
There is a Lord who has promised, “I will never forget you.”

When my heart is breaking, He gives me refuge;
Without fear, He draws me close to His heart.
Jesus, my Good Shepherd, never wavers;
There is not the slightest deceit in His words.

Even if those closest to me betray me, I will not despair;
The Lord who loves me deeply is always with me.
His love never changes—it is beyond compare;
Human love may fade away,
But His love remains forever.

3.
Though my life on this earth is only for a little while,
And I may have to face many trials,
I will not be discouraged or afraid, not even for a moment;
The One who lives forever will turn everything
For my good.

4.
I will endure the hardships I face in the name of the Lord,
Knowing that they are pleasing to Him.
I will continue to sing songs of thanksgiving
And spend my days
Serving at the feet of my Lord here on earth.
