The Lord is my refuge forever;
Serving my Lord is my one desire.
Whatever may come—suffering or loss—
I will remain at my Lord's feet and say:

I will sing aloud with joy,
And praise Jesus with songs of worship.
There is no Savior as good as He
Anywhere in this world.
Hallelujah! I will sing His praise.

The Savior who gave His own life for me
Will never abandon me, even in my darkest days.
He will hold me up and lead me
With His own loving hands.
There are not enough words
To express His love.

By faith I will continue my journey,
Walking the path of the cross
Until I reach my heavenly home.
Even when troubles come like mighty waves,
Everything will change
At the command of my mighty Lord.

Even if all my relatives and friends
Turn away and abandon me,
Why should I be discouraged?
I have His promise:
“I will never leave you.”
Trusting in that promise,
I will always find comfort.

I will keep the faith
And run my race,
Fighting the good fight
Throughout all my days.
Then I will come to the feet of my Jesus
And sing songs of thanksgiving
Forever and ever.
