The Lord, the Ocean of Mercy, watches over me day and night.
In the darkest hours, He keeps me safe in His hands.

1.
When my heart is troubled
by the harsh cruelty of deceitful people,
He gives me refuge in His loving heart.
I will not be afraid; I will rest in His comfort.

2.
When I enter the valley of death,
He will come and stay beside me.
In the sight of my enemies, He will prepare a feast for me.
He is my good and faithful Friend.

3.
My purpose in life is to fulfill the will of God.
Therefore, whether I live or die,
I belong to the Lord.

4.
The Red Sea will part, and the Jordan will open
by the strength of His mighty hand.
So why should I fear the troubles of this earthly journey?
He is all I need, right to the very end.
