O ocean of mercy, melt my heart with compassion;
Watch over me, Your servant, every day.

Give me the strength I need,
And let all my troubles and fears fade away.

When the cruelty of the fierce enemy Satan surrounds me,
Here on this earth, Lord,
Your holy feet are my refuge.

When the winds beat fiercely against my boat,
Help me sail through the journey of life
In perfect peace and safety.

Let Your Word always be my daily food,
So that I may live each day
Nourished and guided by it.

When anxious thoughts overwhelm me,
Help me place every worry in Your hands
And rest completely in You.

Let weakness disappear and every need be fulfilled,
So that I may always see
Your people living in peace here on earth.

7.
In this wilderness of life,
May You alone be my companion and sufficiency;
Remove every trouble and let me dwell
In peace, safety, and well-being.
