Meaning:

Jesus, worthy of endless praise and worship,
shed His blood to redeem me.

1.
The Lord is my Rock and my refuge.
He lifted me out of the pit of sin
And brought me safely to Himself.

2.
He took away my sin and removed my curse.
Through His sacrificial death
On the cross at Calvary,
I have been set free.

3.
He bore my sorrow and suffering
So that I might have joy.
I will meditate on His precious and loving name
And sing with joy forever.

4.
He has conquered and now reigns,
Seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven.
He will return again, swiftly in the clouds,
To gather His redeemed and holy people to Himself.
