1.  Raavithereyaay prabhaatha thaaramaay
   Rakshakanaameshu vannidaaraay
   Raaja raajanaay kireeda dhaariyaay
   Vaazhuvaanavan varunnithaa-
    
2. Innu nindyaraay avante makkal naam
   Kannuneerilaapathichennaalum
   Annu minnidum kireeda menthidum
   Mannaneshuvothu vaanidum- 

Meaning:

The trumpet is sounding, and the Bridegroom is coming;
The time of His coming is drawing near.
The face we have longed to see,

The beloved face our waiting eyes have watched for,
We are about to see with our own eyes, bringing great joy to our hearts.

On that day, everlasting joy will fill our hearts;
And forever we will bow before Him and sing His praises.

The long night is almost over;
Jesus our Savior is about to come like the morning star.
He is coming as the King of kings,
Crowned with glory,
To reign forever.

2.
Though today we, His children, may be despised
And may cry out in tears and sorrow,
On that day we will shine with glory,
Wear our crowns,
And reign forever with our King Jesus.
