I can almost hear the trumpet sounding;
The day is near when I will be gathered to my Beloved.
I will see His glorious, radiant face,
And walk along the streets of gold.

My heart leaps with hope and joy;
My Savior will soon appear.
From this earthly tent that is my home,
I, a weary traveler, will rise and fly away.
