           Yeshuve enne nee.... haa .....

1.  Ardhapraananaay kidanno-renne raksha cheythiduvanaay aa aa
   Thanirangi bhoovil nee vannitho!-
    
2.  Keettu sheelayil pothinja-ponnumeniyangu shayippoo aa aa
   Pulthozhuthilallayo naadhane!-
    
3.  Gatshamana poovanathil-paapachashakam kandoruneram aa aa
   Mannil veenupoyavan aarthanaay
   -
4. Ninamaninja meniyil van-kurishumenthi paadukalettu aa aa
   Veenu veenu pokayaanen paran!-
    
5. Kurishil kaikaalkal viriche-shirassil mulkireedamaninju aa aa
   Thala chumalil chaayichavan kezhunnu-
    
6.  Sakalarum kaivitta neram-
   Praanan kurishil yaagamaay theernnu aa aa
   Veendeduthen praanane snehavaan-

Meaning:

Jesus, You loved me and gave me life…
Oh, Jesus, You loved me…

1.
When I was lying almost lifeless and helpless,
You came down to this earth to save me.
Oh, why did You humble Yourself and come so low for me?

2.
Your precious body was wrapped in swaddling cloth
and laid to rest in a humble place—in a manger, O Lord.
The Lord of glory came into such lowliness for us.

3.
In the garden of Gethsemane,
when You saw the cup of suffering and sin before You,
You fell to the ground in deep anguish, crying out.

4.
With Your body covered in blood,
You carried the heavy cross,
bearing wounds and suffering,
stumbling and falling again and again.

5.
With Your hands and feet stretched out upon the cross,
and a crown of thorns placed upon Your head,
You bowed Your head upon Your shoulder
and cried out in agony.

6.
When everyone had abandoned You,
Your life became a sacrifice upon the cross.
O loving Savior, You gave Yourself
and redeemed my life.
