1.
When the battle of life is over,
And I have crossed the mighty waves,
I will see that glorious, beautiful morning.

When I reach the other shore,
I will see Jesus,
The Lord who redeemed me.

When I see the deep wounds and scars in His body,
I will know Him as Jesus,
My Lord and Redeemer.

4.
He will welcome me with a gentle smile,
And I will lovingly kiss His feet.

5.
He will stretch out His arms,
Embrace me, and hold me close to His heart.
He will wipe away my tears,
And all my suffering will be gone.

6.
With great joy, I will raise my voice and sing:
“Salvation belongs to the Lamb
And to our great God!”
