Jesus, Lord, You are the Gate of Life—may You be praised!
May You be praised, O Lord,
You who are like a consuming fire against sin!

Those who enter through You are forever saved;
they are forever saved—
there is no condemnation for them.

You will surely provide them with food;
You will lead them to green pastures,
where they will always find nourishment.

You died for Your sheep who had no life,
and You came, O Lord,
to give them abundant life.

You are the Good Shepherd of troubled sheep.
With a compassionate heart,
You lift them onto Your shoulders
in their days of sorrow.

Your sheep know You, O Lord of all,
and You know them
completely and surely.

7.
You give them eternal life, O Lord;
they will never perish,
and no one can snatch them away.

8.
Hearing Your sweet and joyful voice,
we will follow You,
walking gladly and faithfully behind You.

9.
The flock of sheep that Your Father
has entrusted into Your hand—
no mighty enemy will ever be able
to snatch them away.
