The sound of the river of life is ringing out,
bringing victory over everything.
He removes the rule of sin and reigns within us,
giving victory through His holy power.

The one who puts his strength in the LORD
need not depend on anything else.

By faith I have been saved,
and He has given me such great comfort.
He has filled me with His inspired Word
and given me a place to stand within His law.

The blood of the New Covenant
has removed my sorrow and given me a new path.
By His grace, the Holy Spirit has been given to me,
and He continually dwells within me in abundance.

Whenever I remember His promises,
my heart melts and rejoices.
He is my close companion; He lovingly watches over me
and gives me a share in His blessed inheritance.

Even if I lie in the middle of the sea,
there is no barrier—His hand will guide me.
When the waves rise and try to pull me under,
He will reach out His hand and draw me close.

When darkness grows thick
and great waves surround me,
when I cry out from the midst of the darkness,
He is ready to take away my sorrow.
