here is no Savior as wonderful as Jesus,
Not on earth below,
Nor in heaven above.

1.
For sinful humanity,
He left heaven and came down to earth.
The Holy One shed His blood upon the cross,
Opening the way to salvation
For every sinner.

2.
So that no one need remain
Trembling in fear of death
Or wandering without a refuge,
Trust in the great Savior
Who endured death
And conquered it in victory.

3.
If you truly believe in Him,
The judgment of eternal punishment will pass away.
But if you reject the Savior today,
There is no other way
To salvation in all the world.

4.
The One whom this world once mocked,
Crowned Him with thorns,
And treated Him with contempt,
Will come again as King.
He will wear the crown of gold,
Be honored and worshiped,
And reign gloriously over His kingdom.
