Meaning:

1
I am filled with great comfort
when I look with the eyes of faith.
In the presence of my loving Savior,
I see a joyful multitude gathered together.

Filled with delight and wonder,
they stand all around, praising Him.
Those who longed to see His glorious face
are now looking upon Him with great joy.

The Father has wiped away all the tears
from the eyes of His children forever.
Wearing golden harps,
they joyfully praise the Lord
in His presence.

They have washed their robes
and made them perfectly white
in the blood of the Lamb.
They have become completely holy
through the power of Jesus' precious blood.

They wear golden crowns upon their heads
and bright white robes.
With palm branches in their hands,
they sing praises and rejoice with great joy.

Soon I too will join that multitude
and rejoice together with the holy ones.
I need nothing this world can offer;
I need nothing else.
It is enough for me to be in the presence of my Lord.
