How can I continue living here on earth?
What a difficult journey this is!

The sea of this world is being shaken by fierce winds,
Its waves rising and crashing all around.
Because the journey has become so difficult,
O Lord of heaven, please be my help!

These are difficult and troubled times,
So help me use my days wisely and faithfully.
Make Your Word clear and easy for me to understand,
O heavenly Lord, please help me!

Even among God's people,
Genuine love has grown cold in some hearts.
Some have been overcome by the sickness of greed,
Hatred, and other harmful desires,
And have turned away.

Come, Jesus my Lord,
And reign over this earth as its rightful King.
Take complete authority and rule forever,
And put an end to all sorrow and mourning.
