1. Ninthiru paadapeetdathil-anayuvathi-nenthullu nangalappane!
   Nin thiru suthaneshuvin thiru-jadam bhuvi
   Chinthiyor puthuvazhi-thurannu prathishtichathaal
    
2. Mandathayellaam neekkuke-ninnadiyaaril
   Thannarul nallunarchaye Vannidunnoru ksheenam-nidraamayakkamivayonnaake
   neeyakatti- thannidukaatma shakthi-
    
3. Oro chinthakal njangalil-varunne mana-ssoronnum patharidunne
   Ghora vairiyodu nee poraadiyadiyarkku
   Chorayaal jayam nalkidenam parama naadhaa!-
    
4. Ninthiru vaagdathangale manathaliril Chinthichu nalla dhairymaay
   Shaanthathayodum bhaval sannidhi bodhathodum
   Santhatham praarthichidaan nin thuna nalkidenam
    
5. Neeyallaath-aarumillayyo! njangalkkabhayam
   Neeyallo praana naadhane!
   Nee yaachana kettidaath aayaal pishaachinude
   Maayaa-valayil naashamaayidum aayathinaal

Meaning:

At this precious hour, dear God,
Give us the strength of Your Spirit
So that we may pray—
So that we may truly pray to You.
Your servants have come together
And gathered in Your presence, Lord.

1.
What is there that prevents us
From approaching Your throne, our Father?
Because Jesus, Your holy Son,
Gave His body and shed His blood on earth,
He opened and established
A new and living way for us to come before You.

2.
Remove all weariness and sluggishness
From Your servants.
Give us a good spiritual awakening.
Take away every kind of tiredness,
Sleepiness, and spiritual drowsiness,
And give us the strength of Your Spirit.

3.
Many thoughts come into our minds,
And our hearts become troubled and afraid.
You fought against the fierce enemy;
Now grant Your servants victory
Through the power of Christ's blood,
O Most High Lord!

4.
Help us to hold Your promises
Deep within our hearts
And pray continually with courage,
With peace and calmness,
And with a constant awareness
Of Your presence.
Give us Your help, Lord.

5.
There is no one but You for us!
You alone are our refuge,
Our Lord and Giver of life.
If You do not hear our prayers,
We may be destroyed
By the enemy's deceptive snares.
Therefore, Lord, hear us
And keep us in Your presence.
