5. Maathaa pithaakkanmaar enne vedinjaalum
   Santhaapamillenikku-ente
   Maathaa pithaavekkaal anpu thingidunno-reshuvunde enikku
    
6. Mumbilum pimbilum kaavalaay ninnu nee
   Mumbil nadakkaname-ninte
   Imbamulla raajye vannu cherum vare anpodu kaakkename

Meaning:

What is there in me, O Father,
That You should love me so deeply here on earth?
When I think of the salvation You have given me,
My heart overflows with joy
Day after day.

1.
When I see Your Son’s love revealed upon the cross,
My fear of being Your enemy disappears.
How beautiful is Your grace,
That reached out to me
And made me Your friend!

2.
You gave Your own Son
So that I, who was once Your enemy,
Could become Your child.
O God, no human being on earth
Could ever show such great love.

3.
You loved me, a lowly and helpless sinner,
And Your Son came into this broken world.
Jesus willingly gave Himself
Into the hands of sinful people
And suffered a shameful death
To save people like me.

4.
Even when my community rejected me,
My own family turned away from me,
And even my friends abandoned me,
My heavenly Friend stayed beside me.
He became my constant companion
And never left me,
Even in the hardest times.

5.
Even if my own parents were to abandon me,
I would not be without comfort.
I have Jesus,
Whose love for me is even greater
Than the love of any earthly parent.

6.
You have stood guard over me
Before me and behind me.
Please continue to walk ahead of me
And protect me with Your loving care
Until I finally reach
Your beautiful and joyful kingdom.
