In this world I may be lowly and insignificant,
and sorrow may often surround me.
But when Jesus comes in the clouds
and lovingly takes me to be with Him—

The kingdom of God is prepared for me.
There I will be with the Lamb of God and His disciples,
among the gathered saints.
I will join them at the banquet and feast with them.

He will wipe away every tear,
and everything will shine in glorious beauty.
In His presence, the Lord will place
the crown of life upon my head.

Clothed in white robes,
holding golden palm branches in my hands,
I will praise and sing to the Lamb of God,
rejoicing forever in His presence.

Oh, how blessed I am!
I do not have words enough to describe it.
This is a glorious and eternal blessing—
there is nothing on earth that can compare with it.
