1.
What a wonderful Friend Jesus is,
who carries our burden of sin!
Let us bring everything to the Lord
and surrender it to Him in prayer.
How much peace we lose,
and how much sorrow we endure,
simply because we fail
to draw near to God in prayer.

Are you facing trials, hardships, or problems?
Go to the Lord's presence
and do not be discouraged.
There is no other Friend
who can carry all our sorrows for us.
Go to the Lord;
He is mighty and faithful,
and He will help you.

If you are burdened, weary from your work,
and exhausted from life's struggles,
Jesus will give you rest.
His presence is a place of safety and peace.
Even when your friends abandon you,
Christ remains your faithful and closest Friend.
He will protect you with His loving arms
and give you lasting rest and security.
