Meaning:

Hear, O heavens;
Listen, O earth!
I have raised and cared for My children,
Yet they have rebelled against Me.

1.
The ox knows its owner,
And the donkey knows
Its master's feeding trough.
Yet My people do not know Me;
They do not understand or recognize Me.

2.
My people carry the burden of their sin.
They are children of wrongdoing,
Corrupt and rebellious in their ways.
They do not recognize their God
Or understand who He is.

3.
Even the birds of the heavens—
The stork, the swallow, and other birds—
Know the seasons and appointed times.
Yet My people do not know
Or recognize the Lord.
