What wonderful joy this Christian life brings—
the life of a child of God!

I have no fear, no anxiety,
and no burden from worldly cares.
My heavenly Father is with me;
He is all I need at every moment.

I have no sorrow and no despair.
I do not worry about what may come.
My Jesus continually watches over me
with His loving and faithful hands.

I will not put my trust in people,
nor will I let my heart depend on wealth.
I will carry my cross
and follow Jesus, my Lord,
throughout my life in this world.

I know whom I have placed my trust in.
He will guard and preserve
what I have entrusted to Him
until the very end.
He will never turn away
anyone who comes near to Him.

My home on earth is only a temporary tent;
this world is not truly my home.
I am a stranger and pilgrim here.
I am waiting for the eternal home
that God Himself, the Master Builder,
is preparing for me.
