What joy I have! What wonderful joy!
Living with my beloved Jesus is beyond imagination—
it is truly beautiful.
What happiness this new life brings!
Even though I live in a world filled with sorrow,
He gives me comfort, peace, and hope.

1.
I did not begin this life by seeing everything with my own eyes;
I began it by taking steps of faith.
From the treasures of heaven,
He provides for me so that I lack nothing.
When I trust Him with hope—even when circumstances seem hopeless—
I discover that everything is possible.

Even if people hate me or oppose me,
my heart says it does not matter.
I have made a commitment to live and die with Jesus.
Even if those who promised to stay with me
leave me one after another,
I still have Jesus as my constant companion.

I have no fear about who will help me
or who will protect me.
