My refuge is forever in Jesus,
So I have nothing to worry about anymore.

When many trials come upon me in this world,
I will sing a new song from my heart.
When waves of trouble rise against me,
I will comfort myself by singing, “Hallelujah!”

2.
He shut the mouths of lions
And took away the power of the fire.
He restrained the hand of the destroying angel.
Day and night, by the strength of His mighty arm,
He has faithfully protected me
And will continue to lead me by His grace.

3.
The God who provides for the birds of the sky,
The God who makes fragrant flowers bloom,
The God who led His people through the wilderness—
He will never forget me;
He will always care for me.

4.
I will remain listening to His voice,
Gazing upon His face,
And serving at His feet.
When my days on earth are over
And I see my Beloved face to face,
All my sorrow will finally be gone.
