How good my God is!
He knows me better than anyone.
He gives me everything for my good,
and He always cares for me.

Even in times of severe testing,
even in the midst of a blazing furnace, (2)
He pours out His grace upon me like refreshing snow,
and brings all my troubles to an end. (2)

He is moved with compassion when I weep
and never abandons me in difficult days. (2)
He will take care of every matter for me,
and He never forgets me—not even for a moment. (2)

Yahweh, my Shepherd, is always good.
He is the God who brought down the walls of Jericho
and made a way through the Red Sea.
He will also lead me safely and beautifully
along the path He has prepared for me.
