My refuge is in Jesus;
He is everything to me, always.
In sorrow and in every trouble,
He is continually my safe shelter.

He leads me by His grace
And always holds me in His hands.
Yesterday, today, and forever,
Jesus never changes.
How good He is to me!

2.
When my heart grows weary and broken,
When even my closest brothers and sisters turn away,
Jesus is there for me as my closest and greatest helper.
He is completely sufficient for me.

3.
I have His promise that He will never leave me.
So I will not be afraid or discouraged.
I will not worry about what the future may bring;
I will trust Him without fear.

4.
When my days finally come to an end,
I will enter my heavenly home.
Until that day, I will labor faithfully
In my Lord’s field,
Serving Him without rest.
