    Arikil varuvaan krupakal tharuvaan
    Aarum-illithu-pol-oruvan
     
  2. Ellaa bhaarangalum chumakkum
    Ennum thaangi-enne nadathum
    Karthan than karathaal kannuneer thudackkum
    Kaathu paalikkumenne nithyam
     
  3. Ithra nallavanaam priyane
    Idharayil ruchicharivaan
    Idayaayathinaal oduvil vareyum
    Iniyenikk-ennum thaan mathiyaam-
     
  4. Enne thannarikil cherkkuvaan
    Ethrayum vegam vannidum thaan
    Puthanaam bhavanam ethi vishramippaan
    Aarthiyode njaan kaathirippoo-
                                                                           

Meaning:

My refuge and my strength,
My ever-present help,
In every trouble and at every moment,
My God is always there for me.

Along paths filled with darkness,
And in moments when my heart is breaking,
There is no one like Him
Who can come near to me
And shower me with His grace.

2.
He carries all my burdens,
Always sustaining me and leading me.
With His mighty hand, the Lord
Wipes away my tears
And watches over me forever.

3.
Because I have been given the privilege
Of knowing and experiencing
Such a wonderful and loving Lord here on earth,
He alone will be enough for me
Until the very end.

4.
He will come very soon
To take me to be with Him.
I eagerly wait for that day
When I will enter my new heavenly home
And rest there forever.
