My Jesus will soon come from heaven,
And all my troubles will come to an end with joy.
I am nearing my heavenly home—
My journey is almost over. 

1.
I will stand before Jesus,
Who will judge with perfect justice.
My Lord will place a glorious crown upon my head,
And welcome me into His presence.

2.
I will fight the good fight,
I will finish my race, and I will keep the faith.
My Lord will place upon me
The crown of righteousness.

3.
I will build upon Christ, the sure foundation,
With gold, silver, and precious stones.
What is built upon Him will not be destroyed by the fire;
Instead, its true worth and beauty will shine even more.
