Jesus, You are my very life.
You have redeemed me with Your precious blood.
Please keep me, Your faithful servant,
Safe in Your loving care.

Help me live the rest of my days
According to Your will.
Do not hand me over
To the schemes and plans of the wicked.

When the world draws near
With all its powerful attractions and illusions,
Guard my heart
And keep my mind focused wholly on You.

Do not let me fall
Because of the weakness of my flesh.
Help me stay awake
And pray continually without giving up.

When the devil shoots his fiery arrows at me,
Hide me lovingly
Under the shelter of Your wings.

Help me place every anxious thought
Into Your mighty hands,
And fight the good fight
With steadfast faith.

When people who do not understand the truth
Oppress and trouble me,
Be my refuge, Jesus;
For I am Your humble servant.

When You test me
As gold is refined in the fire,
Give me complete faith
And steadfast patience.

In the temple of my heart,
Let me always hear, O Lord,
The gentle voice
Of Your precious and life-giving love.

O Lord, rich in mercy,
As I journey day by day through this wilderness,
Give my soul the heavenly manna
And the living water it needs.

11.
Grant me faithfulness
Until the very end of my life.
And when that day comes,
Give Your servant refuge
In Your loving embrace.
