I am now Your own, O Jesus,
For You gave Your life for me.
Come and reign within my heart
Forever, my Lord and King.
1
I have seen Your holy body upon the cross,
Bearing the punishment for my terrible sins.
My love for You grows deeper in my heart;
I no longer desire a life of sin.
You alone are enough for me.
2
O Lord, You paid the enormous debt of my sins
With Your own precious blood.
What can I possibly give You
In return for such grace?
My whole life is like a blade of grass—
I offer it all to You.
3
I have heard Your gracious call,
And here I am, coming to You, my Lord.
Whatever You command, I will obey.
I will remain Your servant
Forever.
4
O One who walked upon the sea,
Lead me safely across the sea of this world.
Just as You stretched out Your hand
And lifted Peter when he was sinking,
Reach out Your hand
And lift me up as well.
5
Let me not remain like a helpless child
Wandering and being tossed about.
Help me run confidently
Above the waves of life's storms.
You are my strength,
You are my life,
And You alone are all I need, my Lord.
