   Chenninam chinthiyathin vidavaam
   Ennum pithaavinte sannidhiyil
   Ninniduvaan balam nalkuvathe-
    
4. Innu njaan muthuvathaathmaavil
   Vannidum neeyiniyannaalil
   Kandidum ninne njaan mukhadaavil
   Muthidum ninmurivil vaduvil

Meaning:

1.
My Lord and my God,
I kiss Your wounds with love.
Your body was pure and without sin,
Yet it was covered with these deep wounds—
And I know that my sin is the reason.

2.
From the blows, the nails, and the crown of thorns,
Your whole body was covered with wounds.
And in the end, Your side was pierced as well.
With a humble and repentant heart,
I bow before You and kiss Your wounds.

3.
Your precious blood was shed
As the price of my redemption.
Those wounds became the way
For me to receive strength and grace
To stand forever
In the presence of the Father.

4.
Today, I kiss Your wounds
With the love within my soul.
And on that day when You return,
I will see You face to face.
Then I will kiss
The wounds and scars You bore for me.
