1. Kallukal mullukal ivayilen kaalukal
   Thallidaathavan enne kaakkum -a-a-a-a
   Illoru vazhiyum avanariyaathe
   Thellume kuzhaya njaan krupayaale
    
2. Idharayilakum van kodum kaattathil
   Ithrayum shaanthathayaaril-a-a-a-a
   Uthamanavanil urappichen paadam
   Nithyavum adiyan nilkkum sammodam
    
3. Ugramaam vailil ulakamaam vayalil
   Oozhiyam njaan cheyyunneram-a-a-a-a
   Undenikkarikil avan thanalaayi
   Kuntditham varikil udan thunayaayi
    
4. Van marubhoomiyil en manam neerukil
   Than mukham enikkaashwaasam -a-a-a-a
   Vinmayamaakum vanaantharamethum
   Nanmayum dayayum avanenikkekum-
                                                                            

Meaning:

Throughout my journey of life on this earth,
Jesus is always my companion.
He is the exalted One who travels with me;
His Word is my guide and my rule.

Though there are stones and thorns along the way,
He will protect my feet from stumbling.
There is no path that He does not know;
so, by His grace, I will never lose my way.

When fierce storms shake this earth,
who can give me such perfect peace?
With my feet firmly established in Him, the faithful One,
I will stand securely and rejoice every day.

When I am serving Him
under the scorching sun in this world's field,
He is right beside me as my shade.
And whenever sorrow comes,
He is immediately there to help me.

When my heart grows weary and burns
in the vast wilderness of life,
His face is my comfort.
Even the most desolate wilderness
can become wonderful,
for He gives me goodness and mercy.
