I will always rejoice in my Lord,
The Lord above all lords,
Because the burden of my sin has been taken away.

From eternity, God saw me
And offered Himself as a sacrifice on the cross.
He rescued me from the power of death.
I will loudly sing songs of salvation
And serve at His holy feet every day.

My only boast will always be in the cross of my Savior.
The praise and honor this world offers
I will consider worthless.
I will walk with my Lord along the path of the cross,
Always listening to His Word and following Him.

Even if my friends slander me and turn against me,
I will remain peaceful and rest close
To the heart of Jesus, my loving Lord.
My sorrows will disappear, my tears will be wiped away,
And I will live each day with peace and joy.

Until my days on earth are finished,
I will joyfully serve at my Lord's precious feet.
Then I will enter the presence of Jesus,
Where I will praise Him and worship Him forever.
