Meaning:

Jesus is always good,
Always good.
Yesterday, today, and forever,
He remains the same.

Whenever I face heavy burdens,
He carries me and gives me strength.
He tells me, “Do not worry,”
And holds me close to His heart.

When troubling events come my way
And fear begins to fill my heart,
I remember the Lord’s words,
And my fears fade away.

So that I will not wither and collapse
Under the heat of this world,
He stands beside me,
Giving me His shade and protection.

Jesus is the One I can trust,
The One in whom I place my hope,
And the One I can depend on
For comfort throughout this world.

Day and night He watches over me
With loving care.
Because His protection is with me here on earth,
I have no reason to be discouraged.
