Jesus, You are my refuge;
in this world, You alone are my refuge.
1
I have no refuge in human beings,
nor do I place my trust in rulers.
My refuge is Yahweh Himself,
my eternal Rock.
2
I do not put my trust in wealth,
nor do I depend on outward beauty.
My Immanuel is infinitely rich;
He is exceedingly beautiful and precious to my soul.
3
My heart will not be drawn to this world,
nor will I set my heart on riches.
My inheritance, my portion, and everything that belongs to me
are found in my heavenly Father.
4
One day You will come to take me home.
I will rest close to Your heart.
I, Your humble servant, will see the hands
that were pierced with nails,
and I will kiss Your beautiful face.
