There is no refuge for me on earth except my Jesus.

except in Your loving arms.
My Beloved is incomparable,
both in this world and in heaven.

My Savior, my God, there is no one besides You.
Jesus alone is enough for me, at every moment.

Even when I face heavy burdens and difficult trials,
I see You right beside me,
as my loving and faithful Friend.
Even if all my friends in this world
turn away and leave me,

You remain with me.

You are my refuge, my refuge;
You alone are my Lord.
I find complete security in no one else.
In this world and in the world to come,
You alone are my Lord and my refuge.
