My Lord Jesus is always so good—
so very good!
How wonderful and mighty He is!

He shed His precious blood
and went to the cross to take away my sins.
He made me His own.
With a grateful heart, I will sing
new songs of praise
for as long as I live.

Whenever sorrow overwhelms me,
He will support me with His loving hand.
He will never abandon me.
Oh, how good He is!
He never changes.

3.
He will carry me through
every difficulty I face along life's journey.
I have nothing to fear anymore.
Under the shelter of His wings,
I will live joyfully and securely.

4.
Soon my Jesus will come in glory.
He will transform me
and gather me close to Himself.
Then I will shine with His glory
and live forever
in the beauty and glory of His likeness.
