Lord, You care for me always;
You alone are my good Friend.
In this world, there is no other refuge for me but You.
I will always sing Your praises with gratitude.

When my heart aches and I cry in sorrow,
You draw near to me
And bring me comfort.
You alone are my compassionate Friend.

Bring deep sorrow into my journey through life,
The moment I behold Your holy face, O Lord,
All my anguish fades away.

In the midst of the ocean,
As I journey in my boat of faith,
Your feet that walked upon the waves
Give me courage to continue without fear.
Because of You, my Lord,
I will never be afraid.

Before the whole universe even came into being,
O Lord of all, You remembered me.
