1.
Sing, O my soul, the song of precious Jesus;
I will always praise the love
With which He redeemed me.

Without hope, distressed and suffering,
I cried out in my anguish.
Jesus, You carried my sins
And bore them on the cross. Ah!

To carry all my troubles
And all my illnesses,
You are always beside me,
Bringing me comfort and strength.
