I have Jesus always
To put my trust in Him on this earth.
Through weakness and every kind of trial,
I have Jesus always.

He is mighty to hold me and lead me;
In times of distress, He is my faithful help.
He stretches out His hand
And takes away my sorrow.
His grace is all I need.

2.
He is the same yesterday, today, and forever;
He is always with me here on earth.
Jesus is my companion throughout eternity;
He will never leave me, even in death.

3.
He is always my refuge;
All my strength comes from Him.
Day by day, I experience His goodness—
What a blessed life it is
To live under His care.

4.
When my journey through this wilderness is finally over,
And I arrive in the presence of my Lord,
I will see His beloved face
With my own eyes.
Then all my troubles and suffering
Will finally come to an end.
