Sing and praise my Jesus,

In times of sorrow and heavy burdens,
He is my closest Friend and stays beside me.

And will never abandon me or withhold His mercy.

Jesus is my closest and dearest Friend.
He is good and faithful;
He will never leave me.
The exalted Lord is mine forever.

Even if heaven and earth pass away,
His Word will never change.
The day of redemption is not far away;
