When will my Beloved come?
When will I finally be gathered to You?

When will these burning burdens of sorrow end,
And the long years of rejection and suffering be over?
When will You wipe away my tears with Your own hands
And give me rest in my eternal home?

You promised, “I am coming soon,”
And gave me this wonderful promise.
Today, as one who has nothing in this world,
I have no other hope but You.

When my life in this earthly tent is over,
I will come and be with You.
On that glorious day,
Millions upon millions of saints
Will gather together in Your presence.

How much longer will the waiting last?
I am watching and waiting
To hear the trumpet sound in heaven.
I keep longing for You, my Bridegroom—
