Meaning:

My soul, bow down every day
before King Jesus.
For your sake, He came down
from the highest heaven to this earth
and gave His life.

1.
He bore the entire burden of your sins
and endured great suffering.
He took away trembling, fear, and the fear of death,
and brought joy into your life.
He forgave all your great sins
and gave you peace of heart.
Remember the great grace
He has given you.

2.
Your sins and transgressions were as heavy
as thick, towering clouds,
and they came upon you
like a fierce and raging storm.
But He swept them all away,
calmed your troubled heart,
and removed your punishment.
Remember this and give Him thanks.

3.
Think of how far the east is from the west;
that is how far He has removed your sins from you.
Not only has He taken away your sins,
He has cast them into the depths
of the great sea, never to be remembered again.

4.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned by its flames.
When you pass through the waters,
they will not overwhelm you.
Know that the God who has called you by name
is your faithful and loving God.

5.
He says that He will dwell with His people in mercy
and show abundant compassion for their wrongdoing.
He will no longer remember
their iniquities and sins.
What a wonderful promise of grace!
